ATTENTION NORTHLAND TIGERSHARKS!

Dear Tigershark Parents and Swimmers:

WOW! The winter has flown by and we are just a short time from the opening of another great year at the pool! We would like to welcome everyone to a new summer swimming season with the Northland Tigersharks. We had a great 2019 season and we are looking forward to another fantastic summer of fun. We will have Coach Katie-Marie back this year!

We are still currently listed as a participating team in the North East West (NEW) Swim League, however, are looking at other options, please stay tuned.  Regardless of the league, we swim with meets are generally held on Wednesday evenings. Children between the ages of 5-18 are eligible to join the team. You must be a member of Northland Swim Club to participate on the swim team. Our team will have an emphasis on stroke improvement and development, team participation and FUN! The cost is $60 per swimmer ($30 for additional swimmers).

We will have an informative parent meeting on Wednesday, May 20th at 6:30 pm. The meeting will take place at the pool. As always, it takes many volunteers to help run our meets smoothly. This summer we will be looking for parents willing to step up into roles to help have a successful season, some of these positions may include: Meet official, Bull Pen Coordinator, Meet Announcer, Bake Sale / Concessions Coordinator, and Timing Coordinator, more information about each of these will be available at the meeting.  Additionally, all parents are expected to help at each meet, please let us know at the meeting of your interest.

We are currently looking at the practice schedule to determine the best schedule available to us, we will have more about that at the meeting on May 20th as well.    See you on the 20th!
